What people say about us

“Inspired Projects genuinely feels like one big family. We have such an upbeat, supportive team and directors who make sure you feel valued and supported in what you do. As a designer, I love the creative freedom we have – every project is different and we’re able to really understand each space and create something completely unique. I’ve also had some brilliant opportunities through IP, from travelling across the UK and Ireland, visiting sites and suppliers to enjoying events at our Manchester City box. I’m now looking at additional courses in project management to further develop my knowledge and expertise, with the support of the team.”

    Lucia Stefani
    Senior Interior Designer

“What I enjoy most about working at Inspired Projects is the variety of projects and the fact that every day is different. You’re given real responsibility and the opportunity to develop your skills, while still having a strong team around you. It’s a great place to progress your career and be involved in some really interesting projects.”

    Finlay Stewart
    Assistant Quantity Surveyor

At Inspired Projects as a project manager, I enjoy the challenge that each project brings, whether it’s managing new teams and working on something new and exciting or, working with familiar clients and striving to keep that client satisfaction that continues to bring clients back. Each project is different from the last, presenting new challenges to keep you on your toes. It is fast-paced, ensuring we deliver the client’s vision, whilst minimising our impact on operational staff & residents.

The projects I have worked on at Inspired have ranged from small-scale fit-outs to working with tier-one construction companies on new developments. My first project was on a listed building, over two sites, and included everything from a light refurbishment in areas that formed part of the building’s listed status to removing structural walls to open up areas and create new spaces.

The opportunity to grow and develop at inspired is excellent, whether it be support in CPD with professional qualifications or being in the deep end ‘mucking in’ with additional responsibilities where needed. This is the benefit of working for a smaller company where you don’t just feel like a small cog in a big machine.

The team at Inspired, from designer to admin to director, carries the same ethos of teamwork and support; it’s refreshing and certainly a favourite part of the role for me, someone who has historically only worked at large corporate companies. It’s a frequent sight to see the office celebrating a birthday, having a post-work pint, or even an occasional sports day.”

What I enjoy most about working for Inspired Projects is being part of a small, close-knit team united by a genuine desire to succeed and deliver the very best for our clients. Although we each bring different skills and personalities to the business, everyone is working towards the same goals and is willing to get involved wherever needed.

We work closely alongside the directors, and the leadership team is never afraid to roll up their sleeves, get their hands dirty and help us achieve what we have set out to do. There is no pretension; everyone contributes, and no task is considered beneath anyone.

People are respected as individuals and encouraged to bring their own personality and character to their work. We are trusted to take responsibility rather than being micromanaged, while still having support available when we need it. That freedom creates space to express ideas, develop on a personal and professional level, and find better ways of doing things.

Most importantly for me, you can see the tangible difference your contribution makes to the operation and continued development of the business. It is rewarding to know that your voice is heard, your individuality is valued and your work has a genuine impact.
